United States Privacy Rights

• Know / access: confirm whether we process your personal information and receive a copy of it.
• Correction: correct inaccurate personal information.
• Deletion: delete personal information we hold about you, subject to narrow legal exceptions (for example, records of completed transactions and security logs).
• Portability: receive your information in a portable, readily usable format.
• Opt-out: opt out of sale, sharing for targeted advertising, and certain profiling. Ask Bobby J does not sell personal information and does not share it for targeted advertising, so there is currently nothing to opt out of; if that ever changes, we will provide an opt-out mechanism before the change takes effect.

Email support@askbobbyj.com from the address associated with your account, or describe the information you provided if you used Ask Bobby J as a guest. Tell us which right you are exercising. We will confirm receipt, verify your identity using only the information needed to protect your account, and respond within the timeframe your state law requires (generally 45 days, extendable once where permitted). Exercising a privacy right will never result in discriminatory treatment, though a feature that depends on deleted data may no longer function.

• Right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the purposes, and the categories of recipients, described in our Privacy Policy.
• Right to delete and right to correct, as described above.
• No sale or sharing: we do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not knowingly collect or sell the personal information of anyone under 18.
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: we use sensitive information (such as account credentials and financial deal terms you provide) only to deliver the service you request.
• Non-discrimination: you will not be denied service, charged differently, or given lower quality for exercising your rights.
• Authorized agents:you may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We will require proof of the agent's authority and may verify your identity or confirm the request with you directly where the law permits.

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Texas (TDPSA), Utah, Oregon, Montana, and others, have substantially the rights listed above: confirmation, access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out of sale, targeted advertising, and significant profiling. Because we extend one national request process, you do not need to determine which statute covers you, submit any request to [support email] and we will apply the most protective applicable standard.

Because we do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, there is currently no sale/share activity for a browser opt-out signal to stop. If such processing is ever introduced, we will honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, where legally required, and this page will describe the actual, tested behavior before launch.

If we decline all or part of your request, we will explain why. You may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing support@askbobbyj.comwith "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond to appeals within the period your state law requires (generally 45 to 60 days). If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.
